Note: Western Religions

The three Western Religions are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.  While they may seem drastically different, all three were started in the  Middle East and have commonalities. The birth of Christianity stems  from the Jewish religion, while Islam includes aspects of both Judaism  and Christianity. All three religions are monotheistic, meaning they  believe in and worship only one god. All three religions include  rituals, traditions, and beliefs that are incorporated into the everyday  lives of the followers. For this assessment, you will consider what you  have explored in this Competency related to the beginnings of Judaism,  Christianity, and Islam as well as how the religions are practiced  today.
